Laura Robson, 18 year-old tennis player and Britain’s number one defeated the 42 year-old Kimiko Date-Krumm into a decisive dominating game of 1st round scoring 6-4 6-4in the China Open.
The rally only took one hour and 21 minutes defeating the Japanese player, Kimiko Date-Krumm as Laura Robson struggles from 4-1 lead on the set before winning the first set.
Laura Robson managed to win back the first and second set to secure the second round slot facing the Spanish-player and 70th seed, Lourdes Dominguez Lino on the Section 3 Bottom Half of the Women’s Singles which both of them are qualifiers on the tournament.
