Normal kids spend more time babysitting during summer and others even spend their days as store cashiers. For most out there, summer means camping and more probably they’ll end up counseling for the event. But if you’re Madonna’s daughter, your summer is a lot like not normal. Lourdes Leon’s summer is definitely glamorous, working in the wardrobe department of her mother’s massive summer MDNA tour. Leon explains in her latest blog postfor her clothing line Material Girl:
“All of my friends were getting summer jobs and I wanted one too. Mine was a little unconventional but still a great experience and a lot of fun.”
Leon tells she have the mos fun time, mostly doing things like folding underwear, and post some cool pics from her mom’s backstage accessories in the tour. But aside from doing all these stuffs, the task that Leon loved the most is being in the wardrobe department. The pop-and-fashion icon daughter says:“Being in the wardrobe department meant me and a few other girls dressed the dancers during the show when they had quick changes. Thirty seconds to totally dress a sweaty dancer can be insane and provoke much anxiety. Doing this night after night was pretty cray, but I loved every minute of it.”
Talking about tour means talking about a lot of travels too. The 16-year old got to travel the world - she listed that the places she considered her favorite stops ate Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Turkey. Lourdes Leon is definitely loving every moment of her summer. She writes that aside from all the backstage pressure, “traveling around like a family, setting up for an amazing show and all having the same purpose” is the most memorable of it all.
