“Our marriage today — I couldn’t ask for anything more.”
Josh Duhmel and Fergie said their “I do’s” on January 10, 2009 and things are running on a smooth plain not until rumors are forming into news in thew tabloids nine months later, alleging that Duhamel went to a strip club and had a on-night stand with one of its resident stripper. October 21 – the couple have been through the huge rock and explained how their marriage have been strengthen by that event.
“We went to therapy,” Fergie said when asked if the couple ever thought of breaking up. “The whole thing just became a positive for us … Our marriage today — I couldn’t ask for anything more.”
Duhamel have also the same sentiment as her wife Fergie:
“Now, I’m actually happy that all that happened, because we wouldn’t be as strong as we are now. As much anger as a carried about it before, I’m actually thankful that it did happen, because in a lot of ways it made me straighten my ass out.”
Josh admitted that he had visited that strip club before but denied that the sexual scheme tabloids claimed are all but lies. But the two left that dark past behind and move forward for a brighter future. They even have plans for their future family with Duhamel who planned to have five kids – a thing that brought Fergie to her worries. She said, “Two is our number. We negotiated that early on. He told me he wanted five and I said, ‘I’m not going any higher than two.’”
That seems very hard for Fergie to handle. We’re glad they made it through the tough times of their lives.
