There is a bit of excitement in Adele’s eyes. Just as the Grammy-award winning singer announced that she had done a record that will be made as a theme song for the upcoming oo7 franchise, Skyfall (which will out in theaters this November 9), part of the track was leaked. And I’m very sure you are very eager to hear what the song would be in your ears — so here’s the preview of the track.
That 90 seconds teaser say everything. Adele’s soft and jazzy voice literally brings back the classic taste to the James Bond franchise, as if the song relives the old moments of the movies, as well as the recent ones. There is a taste of the luxury that exemplifies the whole oo7 theme. And with the preview just spooked out into existence, all we can do now is wait until November 4 to hear the rest of the song (sources say the song is almost five minutes long).
Adele said in a press release, “I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for Skyfall.” “There’s a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and Paul [Epworth] had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no-brainer to do it in the end. It was also a lot of fun writing to a brief, something I’ve never done, which made it exciting.” she added.
