Sony’s handheld tape recorder

In the Walkman’s retirement on 2013 isn’t the death of the era on the cassette tape word, but its format’s final days are now coming. Sony announced that it would stop make tape recorders and discontinue this 2013. Final shipment of the tape recorders are TCM-400, TCM-410 and TCM-450 cassette recorders are due early next year, marking the end of the product line. Despite of the use of the magnetic tape to play the recorded data from the Sony’s portable line up, still Sony has a slot on the cassette’s heart, and continues to sell boomboxes with CD/tape deck combos. Though rewindable cassette tapes seems making its final walk –maybe this is the time that they will build a better mixtape.
