Pregnancy is a time of excitement and happiness but it is also a time when a woman’s body goes through many changes. According to the American Pregnancy Association, over half of pregnant women will experience some form of morning sickness. The first sign of pregnancy are nausea and vomiting, also known as morning sickness. This condition of pregnant woman typically begins 2 to 8 weeks after conception. As every woman experiences pregnancy differently, morning sickness does not happen with every pregnancy.
Opposing to popular belief, morning sickness does not always include vomiting. Instead, morning sickness is defined as any feelings of nausea caused by pregnancy hormones. Although some women only feel minor inconvenience with this condition, others are completely miserable. No matter which category you fall into, there are some steps you can take to control morning sickness.
