How to Increase Your Water Intake

How much water should you drink each day? Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water. Every system in your body depends on water. Your water needs depend on many factors, including your health, how active you are and where you live.
Water is your body’s principal chemical component that makes up about 60 percent of your body weight. Lack of water can lead to dehydration. It is a condition that occurs when you don’t have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. Even mild dehydration can drain your energy that make you tired. Consider these following ways to increase your water intake every day.
Carry a water bottle
No matter where you go, a handy water bottle in your bag is a must. By doing so, every time you feel thirsty, you can immediately gulp down some water from the bottle rather than keeping yourself thirsty for long.

Alarm

If you belong to the kind of people who need to be reminded to drink water, then set an alarm that would beep after every hour and remind you to drink water.
