Sources of Caffeine


Caffeine is a naturally occurring psychoactive substance with stimulant properties. It is an ingredient on our everyday foods and drinks and also used as a critical means of illegal drugs, a stimulant. It is the world’s most popular psychoactive drug, and it is completely freely available and unregulated in the United States and throughout the globe.
Caffeine is also a common food in in chocolate and other foods containing cocoa. It is often thought that people who become addicted to chocolate but are actually addicted to the caffeine in chocolate
